out for Thanksgiving holiday, new quota command, old HPC Cluster shut down

Greetings CHTC users,Â

Three quick announcements before the Thanksgiving holiday:Â

1. CHTCâs Research Computing Facilitators will be out of the office on Thursday and Friday of this week (November 26 and 27). There will be no response to email and no office hours these days. Please contact chtc@xxxxxxxxxxx with any concerns. Email support will resume November 30.Â

2. For users of the HPC cluster and/or /staging on the HTC system: we have a new command that allows you to check your directory quotas and usage:Â

• For users of the HPC system: check your quota in /home and /software

• For users of /staging on the HTC system: check your quota in /staging

• HTC users can continue to check their /home quotas using the instructions in this guide.Â

3. As a reminder, today (Nov 24) is the last day to log into and access files from the old HPC cluster configuration via aci-service-1.chtc.wisc.edu or aci-service-2.chtc.wisc.edu. As of tomorrow, access to the old HPC cluster will be removed.Â
