Ice Cream and content for CHTC users during HTCondor Week 2019, May 20-23

Hi Everyone,

We wanted to remind you of HTCondor Week content that is PERFECT for CHTC users (and potential users), taking place next week. We'll also have ice cream at the Campus Research showcase and social mixer on Monday afternoon. All events take place in the Discovery building on campus. Come and hang out with HTCondor users around the globe from academia, government, and industry contexts.

Morning: Welcome from UW-Madison administrators; Keynote Address from Francis Halzen of the international IceCube neutrino project

Morning: More UW-Madison research impacts

CHTC USERS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND ALL OF THE ABOVE, FOR FREE. PAID REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO PARTAKE IN OTHER CONTENT AND CONFERENCE MEALS (LUNCHES AND EVENING SOCIAL EVENTS).

Greetings CHTC users,

We would like to invite you to HTCondor Week 2019, HTCondor's annual user conference! This year, HTCondor Week will be held May 20-23 at the Discovery Building on the UW Madison campus. We have planned special programming specifically for CHTC users Monday May 20:

• tutorials on HTC, HTCondor, DAGMan, and other tools for running HTC workloads
  
• a "campus research" showcase in the afternoon, featuring talks from your fellow CHTC users about how their research has benefited from HTC and HTCondor
• time for mingling with others on campus who may use similar computational tools to you
  

UW-Madison affiliates can attend these tutorials, campus research talks, and social on Monday, May 20 for FREE (without registering). Registration IS required to partake in conference meals. Full details are on the HTCondorÂWeekÂ2019 site.
