Hi Everyone,

We're resending the below message, as Office 365 appears to be marking it as spam for many of you - and has likely filtered other CHTC User list emails, as well. We're trying to work with the campus Office 365 team to eliminate spam auto-filtering for emails from chtc-users@xxxxxxxxxxx, given that this is how we distribute essential information about upcoming downtimes, staff outages, and data/account cleaning.

In the meantime, please add chtc-users@xxxxxxxxxxx and chtc@xxxxxxxxxxx as Contacts in your Office 365 Mail (Outlook) client so that you receive essential news, like notice the upcoming HPC Cluster outage:

Please also let your labmates know of the Office 365 spam issue so that they can take appropriate action.Â

HPC cluster downtime

Due to server room maintenance, the HPC cluster will be shut down during the afternoon of Wednesday, September 6. Jobs that have not completed by noon on that day will be killed when we shut down the cluster. We will send an email on the evening of the 6th when the cluster is back up; any jobs that were in the queue when the cluster was shut down will need to be re-submitted after it is back up.

Office hour changes next week

Due to other facilitator obligations on campus, there will be two changes to office hours next week:

- Our Wednesday morning office hours (8/30) will end at 10:30 (an hour early).

- Thursday office hours (8/31) are canceled.Â
