Dear Graduate Students,

For the upcoming Spring semester I seek a grader for Math 475: Introduction
to Combinatorics.
Please let me know if you are interested.

We will use the text:

Introductory Combinatorics, 5th Edition, by Richard A. Brualdi.

Roughly speaking, we will cover chapters 1--9 and 14 in
the text. The main topics include
permutations and combinations;
pigeon-hole principle;
partial orders; Dilworth's theorem;
the inclusion-exclusion principle;
recurrence relations and generating functions;
difference sequences;
Catalan numbers;
Stirling numbers;
partition numbers;
systems of distinct representatives; the marriage theorem;
counting equivalence classes in the presence of symmetries.

I will be giving the grader typed solutions to all the HW problems.

If you think you might be interested, please let me know and we can
discuss it in detail; thanks!

Paul
