I won't be able to make it this time, but I would certainly recommend going if you can.

Just a reminder that this event is next Friday. Is any of you planning to attend?

Hi Shuchi,

We are having our fifth Quarterly theory workshop at Northwestern on
Friday, Oct 20. This workshop will be on analytic methods in computer
science.

The speakers for this workshop are Ryan O'Donnell, Oded Regev and
Li-Yang Tan. The talks will start at around 9:00 am and will go until
12:15pm. This will be followed by lunch at the workshop venue and
1-on-1s in the afternoon. The details of the workshop are available at
https://theory.eecs.northwestern.edu/qtw-analytic/

Please forward the announcement to people in your group (or
department) who might be interested. Registration is free. However,
we ask you to register atÂhttp://tinyurl.com/qtwregnuÂif you plan to
attend, so that we have a rough estimate of numbers for planning.

Best wishes,
Anindya (on behalf of the Northwestern CS Theory Group)
