[madPL] Please help out the PL open house for prospective students (March 5th)

Dear all,

 

This year’s welcome weekend is coming up next week! Prospective students would have time to join virtual open house of each field/area on Friday March 5^th (Friday).

 

We need to confirm the time slot for our open house with Angela before March 1^st. Loris, Jinwoo and I are thinking about have 2 sessions to accommodate students in different time zones, tentatively something like 1-4 pm and 7:30-9:00pm. It would also be great for us to each present our work/recent project in 1-5 slides, since prospective students would like to know what kind of research they might participate in here, and it is a good chance to advertise our work, and it also makes it easier to open a conversation about other stuff.

Also, Zach offers to compile slides and research statements on the group website. So

• IF you are up to present your work, please try having your slides ready some time before Friday and send them to Zach.  
• Even if you are not presenting, if you can, share your research statement with Zach.
