Hello fellow Midwest PLers. Just a friendly reminder that the early registration deadline for MWPLS and PurPL Fest is in one week. If you are interested in proposing a talk/poster or applying for a student travel grant, please do so by August 15th.

Hello fellow Midwest PLers! We are pleased to announce that the 5th Annual Midwest PL Summit (MWPLS) will be held at Purdue University onÂMondayÂSeptember 23rd, 2019.Â

We would love to see you there!

We are soliciting contributions in the form of lightning talks (~5 minutes), full talks (~25 minutes), and posters. If you are interested, please fill out the relevant information when registering. The deadline for talk/poster submissions isÂAugust 15, 2019.

Thanks to the support of our sponsors and the NSF, we are able to offer a limited number of grants to help defray the cost of student travel. If you are a student who would like to apply for this award, please indicate as such when registering. The deadline for travel grant applications isÂAugust 15, 2019.

We are also delighted to announce that co-located with MWPLS this year is PurPL Fest: PurPL has graduated to an official university center, and to celebrate, we are bringing in distinguished speakers from academia and industry to share their vision for the future of PL research. PurPL Fest is September 24th (the day after MWPLS).ÂAll MWPLS attendees are also invited to PurPL Fest!ÂIf you are interested in staying for PurPL Fest, please indicate as such when registering.

PurPL Fest: September 24th
