Position:
Post-Doctoral Fellow
Education Requirement: Ph.D. in Computer Science, or equivalent.
Description:
The System Analysis and Verification Group invites applications from
highly motivated and qualified researchers to fill a Post-Doctoral
Fellow position in NEC Labs America, Princeton, New Jersey.
The group engages in foundational as well as applied research in the
areas of verification and analysis of hardware, software, and embedded
systems. The ongoing projects include -- F-Soft, a software verification
platform for sequential programs; VeriSol, comprising symbolic model
checking techniques based on SAT solvers, BDDs, and SMT solvers; and
ConSave, focusing on concurrent program analyses and system-level
verification. In addition, a new project will focus on hybrid and
embedded systems. These projects actively pursue research contributions
with publications in leading conferences, as well as technology transfer
to our collaborators in NEC Japan. More details are available on our
project web pages http://www.nec-labs.com/~fsoft.
The group activities offer a broad range of exciting topics for research
-- software modeling, model checking, static program analysis, abstract
interpretation, constraint solvers, dynamic verification, semi-formal
methods, security analysis, real-time and embedded system analysis.
Applicants should have a strong technical background in one or more of
these areas, with preference given to those familiar with embedded
system analysis and verification. Applicants should also have a keen
interest in driving innovative technologies into real industry practice.
