	  Speaker: David Parter, University of Wisconsin Computer Science 
		   Department

          Names are powerful, but dangerous. This talk will discuss some
	  of the pitfalls of poorly chosen names, and the history of
	  namespace issues at the UW Computer Science Department. It will
	  then discuss /s, the software installation and naming scheme in
	  use at the Computer Systems Lab.
