[condor-users] processes are slow

is there a way to speed up processes
running on idle workstations? coz the
application almost consumes thrice
as much time compared to w/o condor.

minimizing JOB_START_DELAY, ..NEGOTIATION,
etc. is not enough. are there anything
left to configure to increase the speed
of processes? (aside from combining condor
with HPC).
