Is the remote jobmanager (on the Globus gatekeeper) Condor?

If so, several Condor team members spent an afternoon investigating this 
problem, and discovered that it is a bug in the Globus jobmanager Perl 
scripts. It is an easy bug to fix: just edit one or two lines. See:

Just look at the first part, where Peter describes the fix. The rest of the 
discussion may confuse matters: trust what Peter says.
