- Subject: [condor-users] Problem with Condor 6.6 and Windows W2k and XP
Hello, all -
I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this problem with the new 6.6
release: if the START parameter is set to anything besides "TRUE" the
machine in question will permanently stay in "Owner/Idle" state. In
addition, condor_birdwatcher.exe will report that the machine is down even
though condor_status will report that it is up.
For example, using the standard installer, you get a condor_config file that
sets the START parameter to "KeyboardIdleTime > $(StartIdleTime)". But the
machine will never come out of Owner state, unless you set StartIdleTime to
zero. Turning on FULLDEBUG produces no errors; I'm unsure how to proceed.
