- Subject: [condor-users] Condor Flocking & NAT/NAPT
Hi,
I have a Condor flight and would like to flock with a second Condor
flight over the internet.
I understand from the HOSTALLOW_READ and HOSTALLOW_WRITE entries in
condor_config that we need to enter the ip addresses of the machines
that we want to flock from/to.
Both pools are protected using firewalls to NAT the addresses presented
to the outside world, so can anyone confirm Condor flocking works with
one-to-one (static) NAT?
Secondly, as we will be flocking many more workstations that we have
external IP addresses, can we use any find of port address translation
(NAPT) to allow us to flock lots of workstations to one ip address?
Generally, does anyone have any experience of flocking over the internet?
Any advice appreciated..
Many thanks,
Michael.
