[condor-users] Collector in trouble?

Hi,

Our Collector has *lots* of messages like this in its logs:

10/28 15:43:04 condor_write(): Socket closed when trying to write buffer
10/28 15:43:04 Buf::write(): condor_write() failed
10/28 15:43:04 SECMAN: Error sending response classad!
10/28 15:43:04 DC_AUTHENTICATE: attempt to open invalid session condor:2148:1067374655:748867, failing.

Along with some like this:

10/28 15:43:44 WARNING:  No master ad for < medusa-slave052.medusa.phys.uwm.edu >
10/28 15:43:44 StartdAd     : Inserting ** "< medusa-slave052.medusa.phys.uwm.edu , 129.89.200.62 >"
10/28 15:43:44 StartdPvtAd  : Inserting ** "< medusa-slave052.medusa.phys.uwm.edu , 129.89.200.62 >"
10/28 15:43:44 ERROR: DC_AUTHENTICATE unable to receive auth_info!  10/28 15:43:44 WARNING:  No master ad for < medusa-slave063.medusa.phys.uwm.edu >
10/28 15:43:44 StartdAd     : Inserting ** "< medusa-slave063.medusa.phys.uwm.edu , 129.89.200.73 >"
10/28 15:43:44 StartdPvtAd  : Inserting ** "< medusa-slave063.medusa.phys.uwm.edu , 129.89.200.73 >"

And condor_status is unresponsive from any of the machines in the
pool.

Any ideas what is happening and how to fix it?
