[condor-users] Any globus users? Problem with Simple CA

I have installed the globus toolkit onto my linux box
and also installed the Simple CA application to sign
my own certificates for my test experiments.

when i try to sign the user request certificate its not working.

[root@blackhole .globus]# $GLOBUS_LOCATION/bin/grid-ca-sign -in 
usercert_request
..pem -out usercert.pem

Enter password for the CA key:

organizationalUnitName:PRINTABLE:'cluster.neuralgrid.org'
commonName            :PRINTABLE:'root'
The organizationName field needed to be the same in the
CA certificate (Grid) and the request (Globus)

ERROR: The cert request does not match CA cert
Check that the correct security config files are
set during grid-cert-request

The default configuration can be set using either
the command:  grid-default-ca, or via the -ca option
to grid-cert-request.


so i tried..

[root@blackhole .globus]# grid-default-ca
The available CA configurations installed on this host are:

1) 42864e48 -  /C=US/O=Globus/CN=Globus Certification Authority
2) 61171268 -  
/O=Grid/OU=GlobusTest/OU=simpleCA-blackhole.cluster.neuralgrid.org/CN=Globus

Simple CA

The default CA is:  42864e48

setting the default CA to:

-noout: No such file or directory
unable to load certificate

The file: /etc/grid-security//certificates//grid-security.conf. does not 
exist
The CA:
has not been setup correctly.

any ideas. im really stuck (ive posted to dicuss@xxxxxxxxxx as well)
