We have a program that requires licence to run. Since we are using opportunistic scheduling sometimes there may be more machines available than there are licences. So is there a way to tell condor that the program didn't finish correctly so that it must be rescheduled after a certain amount of time even tough condor started it correctly. We are using Windows 2000 and XP in Condor 6.4.7 and have used batch files to set up a DFS, set environments and call our program. So the main problem is how do we pass an "%ERRORLEVEL%" from the batch files to the condor_starter that will tell it that the program aborted and needs to be rescheduled.
