[HTCondor-users] S3 Protocol Usage for transfer files

Hi all,Â

I have seen htcondor provides s3 protocol for input and output file transfer.Â

I want to know how much it is reliable? As for s3 it can have like Slow down errors( in case of HPC) or may be any different errors(like timeout), Does it retry internally if s3 upload is failed(if yes then can we configured that number).

What will be state for Jobs if transfer failed, like currently I simply transfer out and error to submitter and if that is failed Job is put on hold?
