In late 24.x and 25 the python bindings being shipped are only the v2 of the condor bindings, not the long-time v1 version of the condor bindings.. It is a different package to import than before.

Hi I suddenly got errors on one of our scripts, that the HTCondor bindings could not be found. Turns out that the bindings for version 24.11.2, which were there a week ago, are no longer there. What gives? I understood from a colleague that compatibility is only guaranteed for bindings with the same version as the actual condor daemon, hence I was specifying the version number of the bindings. ALSO: I thought perhaps they had been removed due to 24.11 being a development release (according to the condor web site) but the readthedocs site doesn’t mention odd minor versions being development releases.
