Hi everyone,
I am still trying to figure out a way to make an alias to my Condor machines so that, instead of typing commands like "condor_status <FQDN>" use an easier to remember syntax like "condor_status EasyName".
I tried, from what I understand, to set STARTD_NAME = MyName in the condor_config file, but that doesn't seem to do what I want.
condor_status shows slot1@MyName@<FQDN> but if I type condor_status MyName I get an Unknown Host error.
Someone suggested to change the "Name" attribute of the Machine ClassAd, but I can't seem to find how to do that. And I am beginning to think that what I want to do is not possible.
If it helps, I am using Condor 24.0.3, on Windows.
Thanks for your help,
Marwan
