Hello HTCondor community,

 

I am just diving into the world of HTCondor to set up a pool of machines on an air-gapped network. There is so much to learn but am soldiering through.

 

I was wondering if there was a way to alias the hosts running condor. The host naming policy in my company is not very human friendly (just a series of letters and numbers) and it would help me out if I could identify my nodes with friendlier names like “Condor 1” instead of “CL4HF687L5”.
