[HTCondor-users] Pull Request 2424 - Credential Monitoring using the Mytoken service

    Dear Brian, dear Todd,
      
      it's now 9 months that the Pull Request 2424 "Credential
      Monitoring using the Mytoken service" is pending approval [1].
      
      You expressed interest about this PR more than a year ago, when I
      first exchange about this PR in this mailing list.
      
      You proposed me some month ago a dedicated meeting to discuss the
      PR in details.
      
      I understood that this meeting is important, and that it should
      take place before any possible integration in HTCondor.
      
      I was finally the only one at the dedicated appointment. 
      
      And since then, none of my emails has received an answer.
      
      The situation has evolved from enthusiasm to complete silence
      without a single explanation.
      
      I would like to understand what has changed about this PR?

I understand this PR, which appears quite nicely done, is in heavy use at KIT as part of the local token integration in Germany.

I certainly don't want collaborators to have to use custom versions of HTCondor!

Now it seems to me that you do not want to include this PR in the HTCondor release anymore, without an explanation, answer or discussion.

The Mytoken service is now also used in the CERN REANA analysis platform in combination with the HTCondor PR 2424.

If your mind has changed since that last email and that the PR 2424 can not make it in HTCondor anymore, just tell me the reason please.

Knowing the reason through an email exchange or a discussion with you, I would then try to adjust the code if needed.

If an adjustment is not possible or desirable, I would delete the PR.
