HTCondor Friends, Staff (Former and Current), and Users,
The first Condor job ran at UW-Madison forty years ago, starting four decades of research and development within the Center for High Throughput Computing and the UW-Madison Computer Sciences Department. The
Condor Project has given rise to the idea of "High Throughput Computing," used to power scientific discovery over a wide range of disciplines. To commemorate these milestones and the work of contributors to the Condor Project, we invite you to join this celebration
on Tue, June 3rd, 2025 at 2 pm in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union. (Coincidentally, this will also be a couple of weeks after Miron Livny’s 75th birthday.) We are looking forward to seeing many long-time friends. Please feel free to forward this invitation to anyone who might be interested! RSVP by May 22. |
