[HTCondor-users] Fwd: HEPiX Early-bird Registration ends in ONE WEEK

As many folks using HTCondor would also find the  HEPiX workshop of interest, I forwarded the below. HEPiX is a community of information technology professionals (system administrators, managers, â) from universities and government labs that support scientific computing for high energy physics.

Subject: HEPiX Early-bird Registration ends in ONE WEEK

ï

Dear HEPiX Community,

The HEPiX Fall 2024 workshop is now only four weeks away!  We have been busy putting together a diverse agenda that promises a productive and stimulating week, chock full of informative exchanges and networking.  In addition to the previously announced topical session on addressing Sustainability and Climate Change in the Data Center, we have added a topical session on the Security Operations Centers that are under development by the WLCG SOC Working Group.   This latter session will include an additional Friday afternoon hackathon, where you will learn how to deploy and integrate SOC capabilities at your own data center!  We have also lined up a number of forward-looking technical presentations from a select set of vendors that you wonât want to miss!

All information about the workshop can be found here:  https://indico.cern.ch/e/hepix-fall-2024

To register, please navigate to the âRegistrationâ link on the overview page and note that the current early-bird pricing will end in one week, on Monday, October 14th, so donât delay!

And to foster the lively exchanges that HEPiX workshops are known for, we encourage you to tell us about your projects, ideas, experiences (successes as much as failures), issues and so on!  Submit your contributions to the workshop agenda by using the "Call for Abstracts" link also available on the workshop home page.

If you have any questions, please email the organizers at hepix-2024fall-support@xxxxxxxxx.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Oklahoma this November!
