Hi Todd,
1.
We run a small htcondor cluster in a research environment, on Windows. Its currently version 8.8.9, hasnât been updated since we set the machines up a few years back. We are uplifting the cluster now
and want to update to a newer version. As we donât update regularly we thought the LTS version would be the way to go. I was looking for the windows installer to download.
2.
Its Windows, yes I have admin access
3.
I assumed the download page would link to the actual download files and was confused when it just linked to release notes and doco. I did eventually find the download link buried in the documentation
which was also pointed out by some helpful forum people.
Thanks,
Abbey

Hi,
Hopefully this is an easy question for someone to answerâI must be missing something
I want to download the htcondor 9.0.16 Long Term Support Release version, but I cant see a download link or button on the webpage -
https://research.cs.wisc.edu/htcondor/downloads/htcondor.html
Can someone point me in the right direction or send me a direct download link?
Much appreciated
Thanks!
Abbey
Hi Abbey,
To help us improve on the experience for the next person, could we ask a few questions about the above?
1. Above you say you were trying to download HTCondor 9.0.16 LTS... what were you ultimately trying to accomplish after downloading? For instance: Create a small learning environment on a single machine where you can 'kick the tires' and try out HTCondor
commands etc, create a multi-server multi-user computing environment (aka a HTCondor pool), download and build from source, mirror all the binaries locally at your own institution, or ?
2. Are you coming from Linux, Windows, or Mac? If Linux/Mac, do you have root access to do a system-wide installation? If Windows, do you have administrator access?
3. Were you hoping/expecting to find a single web page that had links to RPMs, DEBs, tarballs, MSI installers, Docker images, etc?
Thank you for your feedback / insight!
regards,
Todd
