[HTCondor-users] is it Condor honoring /etc/security/limits.conf ?

Hi all,

I am running HTCondor ver. 8.8.15 as root.
I added into /etc/security/limits.conf a limit on files size, but seems 
to be completely ignored by Condor.

In https://htcondor-wiki.cs.wisc.edu/index.cgi/wiki?p=LinuxTuning , I 
found this "At the moment (October 2003) Condor will ignore these limits 
when run as root."

Is this statement still true?
