Hi Petr,

maybe not the solution you are looking for, but you could limit the file 
size for transfers on the schedd like
  MAX_TRANSFER_INPUT_MB = 100
which might nudge your users to prefer the shared filesystem/namespace 
while not completely spoil the transfers.
