The Rosetta@home project, via BOINC, is using volunteer computing capacity to calculate protein folding which is being directly applied to COVID computations:
I'm putting together a proposal to my IT leadership to use HTCondor's BOINC capabilities to backfill our unclassified clusters with Rosetta@home jobs during the emergency.
