[HTCondor-users] HTCondor installation with java support

Hi all,

I installed htcondor version 8.8.4 from repository on Ubuntu 18.04 with the install instruction https://research.cs.wisc.edu/htcondor/instructions/ubuntu/18/stable/).

On the machine is java installed. But the machine is not listed for java-jobs.

In the StarterLog I found the following line:

08/14/19 15:09:37 (pid:19932) JavaDetect: failure status 256 when executing /usr/bin/java -classpath /usr/lib/condor:/usr/lib/condor/scimark2lib.jar:. CondorJavaInfo old 2

I looked to the classpath and there is no CondorJavaInfo.class and no scimark2lib.jar.

Have I overlooked something? How do I get to the required classes?
