“condor_status -claimed” and “condor_status -run” used to both do the same thing, with -run marked as deprecated in 8.4 since
-claimed is the more accurate name for what it does
In both 8.4 and 8.6 condor_status -claimed gives a list of startds that have active claims, which is a good approximation of startds with running jobs…
In 8.4 “condor_status -run” is an deprecated alias for “condor_status -claimed”
In 8.6. “condor_status -run” queries schedd ads by default, but it will query startds if you add the “-startd” flag

yes it changed.
condor_status -claimed will give you most of the stuff (including the avgloadavg) that condor_status -run used to.
Steve
Hi,
I just wondered if the output of 'condor_status -run' wasn't different in earlier versions ?
In 8.7.6 it just gives a summary (as if '-total' was present)
[root@bird-htc-sched02 ~]# condor_status -run
Name TotalJobs Shadows ActiveDAGs IdleDAGs RcntDone RcntStart
bird-htc-sched02.desy.de 6541 4397 0 0 500 1039
I think I remember that there was a list of nodes and the jobs they were running as output ?
Good chance that I remember it wrong though and used something totally different :(
Best
Christoph
