Thank you for the bug report. I will work on reproducing and fixing this problem. I expect the fix to be in our 8.4.1 release.
I have created a ticket for this problem: https://htcondor-wiki.cs.wisc.edu/index.cgi/tktview?tn=5266

Subject: [HTCondor-users] HtCondor 8.4.0 fails on RHEL6 with SELinux enabled
Folks,
I did a test install of HTCondor 8.4.0 (condor-8.4.0-1.el6.x86_64) on our RHEL6 systems and found that it fails to allow jobs to be submitted in our SELinux environment. This works just fine for version 8.2.9 (condor-8.2.9-335839.x86_64) and so I downgraded HTCondor back to that version so that we could continue running.
A submission under version 8.4.0 produced:
ERROR: Failed to connect to local queue manager
AUTHENTICATE:1003:Failed to authenticate with any method
AUTHENTICATE:1004:Failed to authenticate using FS
Is there a planned fix?
