[HTCondor-users] Multiple submit host and a single SCHEDD

Hi

I have setup a condor cluster with SCHEDD and COLLECTOR/NEGOTIATOR running on seperate nodes. It is working as I can submit jobs from the machine where SCHEDD is running and get back the result.

In our old torque setup we have few interactive machines and users can submit jobs to torque server, check the status and get the result from any of the interactive machines. home directory is shared between interactive machines and WN.

I want to achieve same kind of result from condor cluster. Is it possible ? I tried

condor_submit -name <SCHEDULER_NAME> job

but it didn't work.

I don't want to run SCHEDD on every submit machine. Am I missing something obvious?
