One addendum, the old installation needs to be at least I think 7.9 or 8.0 for the current MSI to work. The method of generation was changed and required a breaking change.

You can also query condor to get the installation location in order to build an install batch file on the fly.
just run

ÂÂ condor_config_val release_dir

on the machine.
