if MACHINE_RESOURCE_NAMES is defined, then it controls which custom 
resources are enabled.
GPUs must be included in the list.

If MACHINE_RESOURCE_NAMES is NOT defined than all custom resources are 
enabled.
You don't need to set MACHINE_RESOURCE_NAMES to get the machine_token 
resource to work,
just remove it from your config and everything will behave as you 
originally expected.
