In fact, if you want to do this automatically you could add a PRE script
to the first node of your DAG, and do the chmod in the PRE script, since
the jobstate.log file will be guaranteed to exist at that point. (I'm
assuming that doing the chmod after the DAG finishes isn't good enough.)
