Your COLLECTOR_HOST is probably okay. I'd start by getting rid of the
CONDOR_VIEW_HOST and see if that cuts down on the traffic. You may
also consider keeping a condor_collector running for the sole purpose
of stats. For large, busy pools, I've run three condor_collector
processes: one to serve as an actual collector, one to serve CCB
connections, and one for Condor View. In any case, not having the
collector pointing to itself in CONDOR_VIEW_HOST seems like a good
idea.
