Hi Dimitri, I use dynamic slots, so I have only one slot :) But the problem is, that matlab does not bother about what condor says. If I don't use singleCompThread or define maxNumCompThreads in the right way, matlab takes all cpus in the system. I think Louis solution put me into the right direction. Does HTCondor provide any info to the Job to do this?I doubt you really want to do this, especially in matlab, but thisnumslots=`condor_status | grep exocet | wc -l` ; echo $numslots12 says condor is configured to use 12 cores on the machine "exocet". -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Werner Hack Universität Ulm Tel.: (0731) 50-26269 Institut für Nachrichtentechnik Sekr.: (0731) 50-26251 Albert-Einstein-Allee 43 Fax: (0731) 50-26259 89081 Ulm E-Mail: werner.hack@xxxxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
