[HTCondor-users] Issue with 12 - 8 core machines bottlenecking

I’m looking to see if there is a fix when using 8 and 12 core machines on condor.  I will also be posting this question on the htcondor-users forum.  My question is back in the day before condor was being used we would be using 2 HDD on the 8 and 12 core machines to avoid bottlenecking and stress on the HDD when multiple nodes would be running a job.  Basically we would split the cores in half and have them run the job on each HDD.  Is there a way to mimic this using condor?  Were afraid when we have condor run a job on those 8 and 12 core machines with one HDD will see a delay in performance.
