[HTCondor-users] Updating to 8.0 (redux)

Hey Everyone,

Similar to a previous thread, i'm also having issues updating to 8.0,
but on a RHEL5 install instead. I get the following conflict:

condor-8.0.0-133173.i386 from htcondor-stable has depsolving problems
  --> Missing Dependency: libpython2.4.so.1.0 is needed by package
condor-8.0.0-133173.i386 (htcondor-stable)

Which apparently my installed package of python24 (46.el5_8.2) doesn't
provide. Would it be possible to have the RPMs modified to either not
require a python dependency, or relax the dependency so older versions
of python can be used?
