[Condor-users] Problem Installing Condor on Windows - condor_status shows nothing

Dear All,

I downloaded the Condor 7.8.4 MSI, installed and restarted. After running "net start condor",  "condor_status" yields an empty output and jobs are not started, even though all condor daemons including condor_schedd are running in the Task Manager. The only config modifications are

c:\condor\condor_config:

CONDOR_HOST=localhost

c:\condor\condor_config.local:

NETWORK_INTERFACE = 127.0.0.1

C:\web\Console2>condor_status

C:\web\Console2>condor_status -any

MyType               TargetType           Name

Collector            None                 localhost@oren-pc

Negotiator           None                 oren-pc

Another problem is that "net stop condor" takes forever. I need to kill the condor_master process to get condor to stop.
