Hi all,
I have a created a Condor pool at our university with 500+ public library PCs.
This network is about to become available to the whole university community and for this purpose I gave a seminar last week.
One of the questions was about the 'abuse' of condor.
Can Condor facilitate what is usually performed by botnets: let hundreds or thousands of PCs attack one PC to cripple its services.
I myself had no answer to this.
Is this something that needs to be taken for granted with a Condor network?
Or is there something I have missed about Condor's security?
Thank you!
Rob.
