Try this: sudo apt-get install condor So download from http://www.cs.wisc.edu/condor the tar.gz package. extract it with tar zxvf condor.tar.gz So go in the created folder and type ./condor_configure --install --local-dir=.... --type=..... The installation will prompt you what you have to do for configure condor.
