that would be great, trying to install PHP4 on the latest debain is a pain somewhere the sun aint shining ;) so a PHP5-ready tarrball with a read-me would be perfect

same.  i guess i should just skip the packaging and make a tarball available so
people can at least use it after a little bit of configuration.
