The current /etc/hosts looks like this:
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost localhost
::1 localhost6.localdomain6 localhost6
I tried adding the line
1.2.3.4 comp1.domain comp1
But doesn't work. I still have the same error.
I'm using fedora core 8.
