Subject: Re: [Condor-users] run compiled matlab code on Condor and this program need large memory
I am a new user of Condor, but from
what I have learned Condor cannot combine memory from different machines
as if behaving like a 64bit. If the program requires 50GB of memory, you
will require a 64bit machine. To the best of my knowledge, MatLab will
run on Condor. There are several universities using Condor for this and
searching WWW for such instances may provide further insight into your
question.
hope this helps,
Mike

Hi,
I am wondering whether I can compile my Matlab program to run on a Condor
pool. The pool will be just workstations. The program need large
memory, say 50G if run it completely. So no single computer can handle
this now. Thank you very much.
regards,
Gang Ma
