There was a specification during the Ubuntu Developer Summit last week
about supporting Condor:

  https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/server-karmic-cloud-cluster-computing

So, if you can't get it installed right now, it should be possible
during the Karmic cycle.
