- Subject: [Condor-users] Condor and ArcGIS?
Hi
All
We've had a query
regarding running ArcGIS/python scripts via condor.
Has anyone attempted
this? We're running windows.
We can find the
machines that have ArcGIS installed and add a classad
in config.local to
identify them.
What I'm worrried
about are issues such as licensing (these are all
individually
licensed desktops), version compatibilities of ArcGIS,
version
compatibilities of
python, installed/registered COM objects and extensions,
environment
variables, etc., etc. I've never used ArcGIS and don't know
much about it, but
it sounds
extremely messy and probably not do-able?
Cheers
Greg
