[Condor-users] administrate condor queue

Hi,

I want to set up a super user within our condor pool, who is able to remove/edit all jobs within the pool. It worked out after adding a global domain-wide user account to the QUEUE_SUPER_USERS list in the condor config file within our domain-wide pool.

But when setting up a private network pool with e.g. just two machines with 4 nodes each, the nodes are listed (condor_status), but regardless of which local user account added to the QUEUE_SUPER_USERS list, it is not possible to remove jobs submitted from other users on the other machine. When calling "condor_rm -name <machinename> <clusterid>.<jobid>" I always get the message: "Cant' find address of local schedd <machinename>".
In the privat network a have only local (machine dependend) user accounts, which indeed have the same user name and password, but still are local accounts. Is this the problem? Is it possible at all to set up a super user wihtin a private network condor pool?

Best Regards / Mit freundlichen Grüßen
