- Subject: [Condor-users] Problems with CondorView
Dear All
I'm running a Condor 7.0.3 pool and installed Version 2.0 of
CondorView(Client) (i.e. view_client-2.0-Any-Java.tar.Z) on an x86_64 machine
acting as central manager *and* as VIEW_HOST.
(Btw. in the manual the final step in the instructions is missing:
One has to unpack the .jar:
-----------------------
jar -xf condorview.jar
-----------------------
inside VIEWDIR!)
I found the following bugs (trying a wide range of browsers and OSs):
1. In the pool-stats (for any period) the 5th column is (wrongly) always 0.
The 6th column actually shows "Owner Peak" and the 7th (unlabeled) column
should be named "Condor Peak"
2. Klicking on the links "x86_64/LINUX" or "INTEL/LINUX" (we don't
have more Archs/OSs) doesn't do anything. I get the same graph as with
"Total", even the colored labels to the right don't change (This stands
in contrast to the Wisconsin-Site
http://condor-view.cs.wisc.edu/condor-view-applet, =: OCVS).
3. On OCVS the "Backfill"-label is put on "(unused)". How can I do
that for my site *permanently*, i.e. not every time via the "Configure..."
button?
The funny thing is that 1. (execpt column 4) and 3. were OK in version 6.1.8
of CondorView (cf. eg. http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~condor) and 2. was not
possible. So the (strangly numbered) transition 6.1.8 -> 2.0 broke things.
Is it possible to still get version 6.1.8 somewhere?
Best regards
Urs
