[Condor-users] condor_collector always at 100%

Dear all,
I have had a condor installation running for a while and recently I changed the master machine. I made sure all configurations were correct and it seemed to run fine. I just noticed though that in the master the condor_collector daemon is running at 100% work load ALL TIME. If I enable full_debug in the config I get a lot of messages like:

4/28 13:32:06   (Could not get startd's private ad)
4/28 13:32:06 StartdAd     : Updating ... "< spider7 , 10.95.14.158 >"


What is happening to my master?
How can I relieve its computational burden?
