From our side nothing new unfortunately :(
I'm beginning to suspect a bug in quilld rather than a
misconfiguration of our
servers: we tried a lot of different combinations of configuration
parameters
to no avail. We also traced database queries to see what was going
on, but no
luck: absolutely no reference to the jobs_history_* tables, except
when doing
a condor_history (which of course gives an empty set as result)...
Maybe the next version (7.0.2? When?) of Condor will solve these
problems?

I'm seeing the same issue, with a new installation.
Any news on this front?

Hello all!
We are trying to set-up Quill (on a Condor v. 7.0.1 installation) to
save
historical job data, but it looks like we are missing something,
since
there's no historical data saved. We can see that informations about
jobs
currently in the queue are correctly saved in the database, but when
they
complet their execution they seem to vanish from the database (i.e.
the tables
jobs_history_vertical and jobs_history_horizontal are empty, instead
of
being filled with the job informations).
The configuration variable QUILL_USE_SQL_LOG has been set to TRUE
and all
information concerning machines, events and daemons are correctly
inserted in
the database, with the exception of historical data.
Is there some other variable that needs to be set? The quilld must
also be
run on the Central Manager in order to have these informations?
thanks in advance!
